It’s allowed to be a beginner
There’s a quiet pressure many people carry when they start something new. A sense that they should already know more. That they should feel confident before taking the first step. As if beginning is something you earn, not something you’re allowed.
Being a beginner often feels uncomfortable, not because it’s wrong, but because it brings uncertainty. You don’t know how things will turn out. You don’t yet have proof that you belong. And in that space, it’s easy to judge yourself for not being further along.
But everyone starts this way. Not loudly, not confidently, not with a clear plan. Most beginnings are hesitant and imperfect. They don’t look impressive from the outside, and they don’t feel certain on the inside.
Sometimes, just allowing yourself to be where you are is enough to let things move again.
